Jason represents the kind of next-generation investor we believe will thrive in the GenAI era: intellectually curious, technically engaged, globally connected, and willing to build conviction before a market consensus has fully formed.

At Eminence, Jason focuses on frontier technology investments across AI, embodied intelligence, and global innovation. His work spans research, sourcing, investment judgment, and portfolio support, with a particular emphasis on China-U.S. AI ecosystems, robotics foundation models, VLA architectures, and the data flywheels that may define the next phase of embodied intelligence.

Before joining Eminence, Jason built his investment foundation at Warburg Pincus and began his finance career at Oppenheimer, a long-established Wall Street investment bank. He holds a bachelor’s degree in political science from UCLA.

What makes Jason stand out is not only his ability to study emerging technologies deeply, but also his ability to translate early technical signals into investment conviction. In fast-moving, non-consensus areas such as embodied intelligence, he has shown the discipline to think independently, the urgency to act at key moments, and the consistency to support founders beyond the investment round.

Jason has also become an important bridge across the China-U.S. AI ecosystem. By staying close to founders, researchers, technical communities, and capital networks across markets, he brings Eminence a sharper understanding of where global AI talent, technology, and entrepreneurial energy are moving next.

Founders’ Perspectives

Zheng Han, Co-founder and CEO of Sudo, shared:

“What impressed us most in working with Jason is his level of engagement and responsiveness. Jason is not someone who only shows up at financing milestones. He has stayed closely involved across fundraising, strategic discussions, industry resource connections, and key decisions. He quickly understands the specific challenges founders face and helps move information and resources in a practical way, creating real value for the company.”

Fengtao Han, Co-founder and CEO of Spirit AI, shared:

“Jason left a strong impression on our team through his respect for founders and sincerity in collaboration. He is open, direct, and efficient in communication. He can raise questions from an investor’s perspective while genuinely understanding a startup’s stage-specific pressures and long-term goals. In key decisions and external resource connections, Jason has provided consistent support. He is a partner that founders can trust over the long term.”

Looking Ahead

At Eminence Ventures, we believe the next generation of investors must combine technical curiosity with strategic judgment, global perspective with local execution, and conviction with discipline. AI investing today is no longer only about identifying technology trends; it also requires understanding talent migration, industrial change, market structure, compliance boundaries, and the real needs of founders building under uncertainty.

Jason’s work across deals such as Sudo and Spirit AI reflects the qualities we value deeply: early strategic judgment, cross-border communication, high-quality portfolio support, and a commitment to long-term value creation. He has earned the trust of founders and colleagues through his professionalism, responsiveness, and intellectual rigor.

We warmly congratulate Jason on this well-deserved promotion, and look forward to seeing him continue to grow in his new role, bringing curiosity to frontier technologies, sincerity to founder relationships, and long-term conviction to the next generation of Chinese founders building globally impactful AI companies.
