Peter is a successful serial entrepreneur and seasoned executive with over 30 years of experience in enterprise software and technology. Before transitioning into venture capital, he held key leadership roles in major tech companies and built a strong track record in digital marketing and product management.
As the General Manager of Advertising Platform & Products at Tencent, Peter was recognized with the Tencent Outstanding GM Award for his remarkable contributions. Prior to that, he co-founded AdChina, the leading digital advertising platform in China, where he served as COO and a Board member. AdChina was later acquired by Alibaba (NYSE: BABA). Before founding AdChina, Peter was Vice President of Product Management at Adify (backed by Venrock), a Silicon Valley advertising infrastructure startup that enabled entrepreneurs and media companies to build vertical ad networks and was acquired by Cox for $300 million cash.
Earlier in his career, Peter played a significant role at eBay as Head of Product for its global Internet marketing infrastructure and initiatives. He also served as a Group Product Manager at Vividence (backed by Sequoia Capital & Kleiner Perkins), which was later acquired by Keynote Systems and eventually Dynatrace (NYSE: DT), the #1 application performance management (APM) platform. His journey in technology began at FedEx (NYSE: FDX) as a Senior Marketing Analyst, followed by a Product Manager role at Oracle (NYSE: ORCL), where he helped build its ERP and the first version Oracle's CRM applications.
Peter holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering from National Chiao Tung University in Taiwan and an MBA from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University.
