As we welcome the Year of the Snake, we are thrilled to share some exciting news — Eminence has promoted five incredible team members! These promotions reflect the long-termism, dedication, and growth of our team as we continue to evolve in the ever-changing world of venture capital and AI innovation.
Please join us in congratulating Joy Dai, Jason Liu, Emma Wang, Rachel Zou, and Angela Ma on their well-deserved new roles. Each of them has demonstrated exceptional leadership and has played a crucial role in advancing Eminence’s vision.
Joy has been with Eminence for five years, making a significant impact on our investment in the AI space, particularly with investments in AI-enabled services and multimodal technologies. Starting as an Assistant to the Managing Partner, she has successfully invested in a series of outstanding startups, including Instant Design, Viggle.ai, and Recurrent AI. Her leadership and keen investment instincts have been instrumental in backing ground breaking companies like Viggle.ai. We are excited to see her continue to grow and lead as our new Managing Director.
Since joining Eminence about 18 months ago, Jason has already made a mark with his expertise in artificial intelligence, spatial intelligence, and embodied intelligence. His forward-thinking approach has resulted in key investments in early-stage companies like Spirit AI, Feeling AI, Hillbot, Noumena and Knova. We’re proud to welcome him as our youngest-ever Investment Director.
As our first CMO, Emma has been a driving force behind our branding, marketing, and ecosystem development. Her leadership in launching Cloud 100 China has been pivotal in establishing Eminence’s presence in the AI Cloud sector. The initiative of Cloud 100 China has garnered widespread recognition and backing from leading tech giants such as Alibaba, Tencent, and Huawei Cloud. We’re excited to see how she will continue to shape our global identity.
Rachel brings over 7 years of experience in fund auditing from PwC. After joining Eminence, her financial expertise has been essential to Eminence’s growth. Her work in fund finance, compliance, and post-investment management has been instrumental in upgrading our operational systems. As VP of Finance, Rachel will continue to ensure that Eminence runs smoothly and efficiently as we scale.
Angela has played a key role in ensuring seamless operations and building strong relationships with our investors. Her ability to coordinate across teams and keep everything running smoothly has earned her the trust of our partners and investors alike. We’re excited to see her grow in her new role as Operations Director.
